It's a quiet late spring morning. You head out beyond the edge of town alone to explore the forested countryside with just your journal to write in.

How To Play
Engaging with your character's thoughts and writing in the journal is critical to traveling deeper into the woods.
The journal-write icon will show on screen when you have new items to write in the journal. You must sit down somewhere to write in the journal. Be sure to listen and watch as the woods may be trying to communicate with you.
Press [Tab (keyboard)], [△ (DualShock/DualSense)], [Y (Xbox)] to open the main menu:
Here you can track your progress and adjust play settings.
*note: sound and music control currently has no effect.
This game renders at a fixed 240p, however the optional CRT (cathode ray tube) effects will display better at higher resolutions (1080, 1440, 2160).
Though many games on Itch.io are in the horror genre, this game is not horror, and should be safe for all ages to play.

Gave it a shot, love the atmosphere so far. Almost has a sort of creepy vibe, really dig it. Ended up recording it.
Looking forward to seeing how it turns out!
